Practical vocational orientation in Jena in the school year 2019/2020 (lot 10)

On the basis of the “Landing Strategy for Practical Vocational Orientation in Thuringia” and the ESF School Promotion Directive, vocational field surveys and professional field trials are offered as practical experiences for pupils. Pupils practically try out a selection of activities in one or more professional fields in the workshops and specialist booths of the educational institution themselves. Vocational field surveys and professional field trials should contribute to preparing for training in accordance with the needs developments in the Free State of Thuringia and the regional conditions, thereby enabling pupils to make a well-founded decision for the choice of student internships as well as a mature career choice decision. The ÜAG gGmbH implements the practical professional orientation in the school year 2019/20 in Jena in conjunction with the JENAER BILDUNGSZENTRUM gGmbH SCHOTT CARL ZEISS JENOPTIK and the International Federation, IB Mitte gGmbH for Education and Social Services (IB Mitte gGmbH). In the ÜAG gGmbH students of grades 7 to 10 with special educational needs take part in the measure. Students learn either in joint classes (GU) in Jena community schools or at a special school. Professional field surveys and professional field trials take place in the workshops and specialist booths of the educational institution in Jena. A total of 53 students from our cooperative schools participate in the measure at ÜAG gGmbH – 18 participants in grade 7, 20 participants in grade 8 and 15 participants in grade 9. The cooperation schools of ÜAG gGmbH in Jena: State Support Centre “Janis-Schule” State Community School “Kaleidoskop Jena” Integrative Comprehensive School- IGS “Grete Unclean” State Community School “Kulturanum” Jena State Community School “Jenaplan-Schule Jena” State Community School “Lobdeburgschule” Jena Vocational Areas and Professional Fields Testing are offered in the following occupational fields according to the development of needs in Thuringia: Metal, Mechanical Engineering Focus Metal Construction – Electrical Focus Electrics – Glass, Paints, Varnishes, Plastics- Focus: Colour and Room Design – Wood and Paper Focus: Woodworking Mechanics – Transportation, Logistics, Transport Forwarding, warehouse, logistics – construction, architecture, surveying – personal care, housekeeping – business and secretariat- Focus: Trade and sale – medicine, psychology, nursing and therapy Duration of the measure: 01.09.2019 to 31.7.2020
