The existing Coono vehicle fleet and charging infrastructure will be further expanded as part of the expansion of the car sharing offer of the Stadtwerke Tübingen. The aim of the project is to establish the sharing offer as a real alternative to motorised individual transport. The project is involved in the approach of the city administration to edit the MIV by push/pull measures (e.g. reduction of car parking spaces, price reductions in public transport, promotion of multimodality, etc.). The project includes the expansion of the scooter fleet by 15 scooters and the construction of 77 charging stations. As part of the project, the infrastructure necessary for the operation of the sharing offer will also be created. Each charging station has 2 charging points, one of which is intended for car sharing and for use as a public charging point. In addition to the car-sharing offer, this will also drive the electrification of private and operational passenger cars fleets.
