The purpose of the project is the conversion of up to 1,657 gas attachment luminaires and 231 gas suspended lamps to LED technology. For this purpose, up to 1,743 LED top-mounted luminaires and 245 LED hanging lamps must be installed in the project area or at the alternative location in the district of Neukölln. The primary energy saving is 9 421 180 kWh/a; this is associated with a CO2 reduction of 2 091.34 t/a (CO2-eq).
