The object of the project is the procurement of four hydrogen-electrically operated emergency control vehicles. As part of this project, an overall concept for the operation of operational control and small emergency vehicles will be developed and tested. The main focus is on the field of tension between hydrogen-electric operating time, filling station infrastructure and the operational suitability of hydrogen-electric propulsion vehicles. The aim is to reduce carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions and to reduce noise emissions in the city centre of Berlin. By replacing four existing diesel-powered vehicles, CO2 reductions of 15.45 t CO2eq per year are achieved.
