The project aims to improve the design of WEA transmissions. Since dynamic loads due to the electrical supply network are insufficiently taken into account in the transmission design, a methodology is developed to integrate transient loads into the development process at an early stage. For this purpose, the existing research gondola at the CWD is used and measured in different powertrain concepts with the help of the 4 MW system test bench.
