It is well known that very large weight savings are also possible with high-wire fiber composites in vehicle construction. However, so far, there is a lack of production technology that enables economic large-scale production of high-performance composite components for vehicle construction with very low cycle times. The aim of the proposed project is the development of a membrane-controlled infusion process (MGI) which allows very short infusion times.
