Tourist establishments in Schleswig-Holstein draw lessons from the pandemic in order to prepare for new crises more resilient – more “resilient”. They adapt more efficiently to changing framework conditions and mitigate crisis consequences more effectively. These action and management concepts can also be applied to offset the seasonality of tourist demand towards increased and more uniform utilisation. The “resilience tool box” to be set up thus contributes to the sustainably stable economic recovery of the tourism industry in Schleswig-Holstein. Via an internet platform, tourist companies receive a “resilience tool box” with proven action and management concepts evaluated by industry representatives. The project is assigned as an independent project to the tourism cluster at WTSH GmbH.
