The content of the project is the expansion of the Development Center for Food Research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Marine Biotechnology and Cell Technology. The focus is on the use of marine resources (such as macroalgae, bivalve molluscs, fish and fishery by-products) for innovative foods, as well as the establishment of in vitro and in-vivo test systems for food ingredients. In addition, close cooperation and the organisation of workshops with and for the food industry is planned.
