Founded in 1997, e-nema GmbH develops, produces and distributes primarily biological plant protection products. Although this area of plant protection is still a niche area, a global shortage of available chemical agents (by increasing resistance as well as by banning especially in the EU and the US due to high toxicological risks) leads to a significantly growing demand. Recent policy developments in Europe, such as the New Green Deal and the EU Commission’s farm-to-fork strategy, reinforce this trend. It is the declared aim of the shareholders to further develop the company as an independent, internationally active but regionally rooted company. For funding, purchase costs for special containers storage of acid/lue, ammonia and hexanol are applied for. The containers are equipped with cooling and are partly explosion-proof. The traffic areas in front of these containers are specially sealed in order to avoid any environmental hazard during loading and unloading. In addition, the investment project to be funded includes the construction of a cold store of about 200 m² and a frost-free warehouse of 1.000 m². Since the land acquired for the implementation of the planned expansion of the plant, which is directly adjacent to the previous premises, is significantly lower, the hall is built on stands, in order to stand at a working and traffic level with the production buildings. Almost 60 parking spaces for employees will be created on the remaining area under this heading, most of them as e-charging spaces. Access to these parking spaces is made possible by means of a ramp from the existing premises.
