Support of a sustainable energy strategy for e-nema GmbH

The project “Advising a sustainable energy strategy for e-nema GmbH” serves to advise the young biotechnology company e-nema GmbH on the implementation of a sustainable energy concept. The aim is to meet the current and future energy requirements as economically, efficiently and with the use of renewable energies as possible. The aim is to achieve a climate-friendly and economically viable production method for the medium-sized company in the long term. The company produces organic plant protection products and has thus set itself sustainability as a corporate goal. With the help of the external consultant, this principle is now also to be implemented in the energy supply. The task of the consultant is to further analyse the actual state after carrying out an energy audit. From this, savings, efficiency and optimisation potentials can be identified. Furthermore, energy supply concepts are developed in line with the production processes for both inventory and expansion and support in the implementation of energy-related and climate-related measures. In order to ensure the sustainability of the project, a tool for energy process optimisation is developed, which is to be used continuously to optimise the production process and the energy-efficient operation method. For this purpose, continuous monitoring over a period of three years makes sense.
