The use of energy from renewable sources in the city of Petrila in order to promote investments in the clean energy and energy efficiency sector in order to ensure the contribution to the final consumption targets of energy from renewable sources. The main result sought is:  Increasing the energy independence of the city of Petrila by obtaining energy from renewable sources (solar energy) for own consumption.  Economic revitalization of the locality; This outcome will also contribute to:  the increase in the share of renewable energy in total primary energy consumption, as a result of investments to increase the installed capacity of less exploited renewable electricity generation.  reducing carbon emissions into the atmosphere by replacing part of the fossil fuels consumed each year (coal, natural gas).  savings resulting from the use of renewable energies used to increase the quality of life of citizens in the city of Petrila;
