Electric aircraft de-icing/anti-icing truck

The overall objective of the project is to ensure a high level of safety during the development of civil aviation activities at the airport, namely, the de-icing / anti-icing operations of aircraft, as well as the permanent improvement of safety measures in accordance with the MPGT strategic document and Regulation (EU) No 139/2014 laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures related to aerodromes, in order to avoid the occurrence of delays and implicitly to avoid financial damage. Romania's air transport infrastructure aims to provide regional centres with a means of fast transport to the capital and other regional centres. Air transport is an important means of ensuring domestic and international connectivity. The Romanian motorway network is still developing, and the fastest railway line is subject to speed restrictions, air transport being a preferred option for long-distance domestic transport, in cases where for short journey times and not necessarily the cost of transport is the critical factor. Taking into account the expansion of the movement areas, respectively the increase of the operating frequency of the aircraft at which optimal conditions must be ensured on the movement surfaces, the intervention time of the equipment for the maintenance of the movement surfaces (summer/winter) must be minimal in order not to disturb the slots allocated by airports to aircraft or air operators, so that the purchase of such equipment will reduce the time of performing the specific operations at an acceptable time, taking into account also environmental protection measures. The number of flights and passengers registered at Cluj "Avram Iancu" International Airport R.A. is increasing, having a major impact on the forecasted demand for air traffic. Air traffic to and from Romania creates economic benefits, which makes it imperative to expand the airport in terms of developing airport infrastructure, safety zones and flight patterns. The implementation of the project can bring benefits such as: -Ensuring the level of safe operation of flights at the airport -Compliance with the international and national legal provisions in force -By purchasing such equipment will reduce the time of performing specific operations The project takes into account cross-cutting actions that aim as a permanent objective to organize the regulations, responsibilities and resources of the project in order to reduce / eliminate the negative effects on the environment. The project is aimed at the purchase of electrical equipment, new. Being of new generation, they will comply with European and global standards in terms of pollution, so they will have a lower consumption, which contributes to the protection of the environment.
