Installation of photovoltaic power plant

Overall objective of the project: Contribute to achieving energy independence by producing green energy from renewable resources for own consumption. In 2007, EU leaders set a target of reducing the EU's annual energy consumption by 20% by 2020. In 2018, the Clean Energy for all Europeans package set a new target of reducing energy consumption by at least 32.5% by 2030. Energy efficiency measures are increasingly recognised not only as a means to achieve sustainable energy supply, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve security of supply and reduce import costs, but also as a means to promote the EU’s competitiveness. Energy efficiency is therefore a strategic priority for the Energy Union and the EU promotes the energy efficiency first principle. Concretely, through the implementation of the project, the electricity generated by the photovoltaic plant will directly contribute to reducing the consumption of electricity from conventional sources to ensure production, with less impact on the environment. Through the implementation of the project, the electricity costs will decrease by approx. RON 6,334,567 and the annual greenhouse gas emissions will decrease from 4,308.88 tons of CO2 to 3,054.63 tons of CO2.
