J.A.S-M.In.E: Youth in specific support – Measures for integration into employment – Mirec

Disaffiliation and youth unemployment are worrying. This audience is a priority target for MIREC, which supported 656 DE in 2021 between the ages of 18 and 29. It is able to re-affiliate young people, allow them access to employment and prevent them from the risks of a social ‘drift’. The pedagogical team offers an adapted range of services. MIREC builds on its experience and lessons learned from YEI projects. The methodology takes into account the changing needs, expectations, values, etc. of young people AND the prospects of the labour market. Investment in the relationship with businesses is strengthened. With an established position as an intermediary on the labour market for the low-skilled, MIREC aims to integrate 240 young people into the labour market. To achieve this, project managers will carry out capacity-building and intermediation activities. Concretely, MIREC offers individual and collective support to young people in charge with a confrontation with the professions. Work experience is prioritised and support takes advantage of feedback.
