The CSP of the City of Liège finances the project Becoming a Solidarity Owner, which is the result of cross-sectoral reflection initiated in 2015 following the refugee crisis. The project partners have defined a procedure for capturing dwellings and allocating them, as well as a common basis for supporting tenants. In addition, the partners commit to jointly carry out an awareness-raising campaign to facilitate access to housing and combat discrimination in housing. The ESF+ project will enable the engagement of a housing sensor to ensure access to housing for the partners’ users. The Housing Task Force is a mechanism that emerged during the pandemic following the emergency plan for the homeless in Parc Astrid. The ESF+ project will make it possible to ensure the continuity of this case management area by hiring a staff member to manage it.
