The Dison-Verviers long-term zero-unemployed territory project brings together a wide range of associated partners with the aim of providing new innovative solutions in a territory of 14,176 inhabitants that presents the biggest challenges of the district in terms of access to employment. Supported by the Relais Social Urbain de Verviers, it is characterised by the establishment of: - a local employment committee whose task will be to organise the coordination of partners around meeting the target audience (estimated at 1,850 people) and the implementation of innovative solutions and synergies that will make it possible to generate emulation in neighbourhoods and remove barriers to employment. - an employment enterprise that will develop clearly defined activities that meet the needs of the territory and people from the target audience. It will employ up to 55 FTEs in 2026 from the target audience in a dignified, rewarding work environment designed to remove barriers to employment. The activities already envisaged relate to re-use and recovery of waste, as well as service to the most vulnerable.
