The ‘Inclusive housing’ project aims to support and strengthen the supply of housing for people with a loss of autonomy. The project will be carried out through two axes of activities. On the one hand, it is a question of establishing a collaboration between the AVIQ and public housing stakeholders in the Walloon Region (the Société wallonne du Logement (SWL) and public service housing companies (SLSP) to better match the offer of accessible, adapted and adaptable public housing with the specific needs (related to the loss of autonomy or disability) of the population in Wallonia. On the other hand, the project provides for the creation of a mobile support cell for inclusive and solidarity-based habitats (already operational or in the process of being set up). Its support tasks will be carried out in particular through information, training, coordination, coaching, development of support tools and identification of existing offers. The cell will cover an extended territorial basin - within the limits of the transition zone - and which may vary in order to offer reactive and sustained support according to needs.
