DuCinéDa is an integrated pathway for the socio-professional integration of young people aged 18 to 29 through the implementation of immersive training in audiovisual professions. A group of 15 participants per year, supervised by professionals in the sector (pre-qualification and advanced qualification), is trained through the writing and production of its own short film. Inspired by the principles of project pedagogy, this system is built by a permanent round trip between creative reflections and acquisition of skills and qualifications. Trainees try collaborative work, project management and coordination of production steps. The training constitutes in itself, by the realization of the short film, an experience of putting in professional situation. The aim of meeting and collaborating with Belgian production players (discovery of the ecosystem) is to open up prospects for entry into a traineeship or employment, in particular through the filming planned at the end of the training. It also prepares students for entry into qualifying training or even for entrance examinations in film schools.
