The ‘Orientation to technical professions’ project will enable 40 young people aged between 18 and 29, with low levels of education or not in employment, training or education, each year to discover professions through repeated immersions of one or two weeks, either in training or in companies. This project is based on individualised coaching starting with an individual interview with a guidance officer, making it possible to identify the administrative and psychosocial barriers to integration (call for partners if necessary) and to determine the career path of discovery. Following this first assessment, a close follow-up, with a rhythm and themes to be determined according to the project, is put in place. This follow-up is punctuated by one to two weeks of supervised job tests/training, carried out either as a traineeship in a company or as part of a job training course. After each immersion, a reflective assessment allows the young person, accompanied by his or her guidance officer, to evaluate his or her experience and regulate his or her professional project. At the end of the action, the professional project is specified by a concrete action plan, meeting the expectations of the young person and his or her constraints.
