FPIE - Youth

The project aims to support the acquisition and development of young people’s skills (including digital, language or entrepreneurial skills), as well as their support and follow-up towards and in employment. Individual Vocational Training in companies (FPIE) is particularly suited to this objective. This work-based learning approach covers all sectors, all types of employment structure. After the training period, the young person signs a fixed-term contract of employment and in more than 60% of cases a fixed-term contract at the end of the fixed-term contract. The measure is therefore effective, but it could benefit even more employers and more young people, thanks to a series of measures: - Engage in a partnership network to support the development of the youth measure with partners and sectors where FPIE is not widely used - Allow access to FPIE to a young audience that is not currently strongly represented, particularly the least qualified. - Valuing the skills acquired in FPIE through the validation of skills - Encouraging access to BF’s online learning platforms to which these trainees will have access when they sign an FPIE.
