The validation of skills makes it possible to issue Credentials, recognized by the 3 French-speaking governments of Belgium, certifying skills acquired throughout life by a person in a formal, non-formal or informal context. The aim will be to strengthen skills validation activities for the public in the Centres and the Cité des Métiers in Brussels, by increasing information on the system, guidance (prognostic assessment to assess the chances of passing the test and advice on possible courses), preparation for the tests, debriefing after the tests, as well as by offering more tests in jobs that promote integration. These activities will be consistent with the developments carried out by the Consortium for the Validation of Competencies (system action) and will require the strengthening of partnerships (local missions, OISP, Braille League, etc.). Particular attention will be paid to building pathways tailored to the needs of candidates by strengthening the link between skills identification, validation and training.
