Creation of an eco-place (Base Autonome Durable BAD model), an open-air experimentation laboratory focused on solutions for ecology, environmental and societal issues. It allows beneficiaries to test low-tech technological innovations and export proven techniques. The AfDB (survivalist movements) is a place to live. The idea is inspired by it, but to create solutions for the future, change mentalities, bring out a new paradigm among beneficiaries. The project includes: An agricultural greenhouse linked to a ‘Jean Pain’ compost to heat water, re-injected under seedling tables to keep them frozen thanks to the thermal energy generated by biomass. A mixed compost platform to inject naturally preheated air into the greenhouse using the same thermal energy principle. Creation of renewable energy through the installation of a solar panel and wind turbine system. Low-tech elements: recovery of end-of-life materials and obtaining a second life (including solar water heaters and solar air heaters) Comparison with hot-layered seedlings inside and outside the laboratory.
