The project presented by SNCF Gares Connexions consists in building the Le Mans Hospital – University railway stop. This peri-urban infrastructure, located close to the Le Mans hospital centre and the tram line, which makes it possible to reach the university campus in particular, aims to offer greater accessibility to the Mancelle metropolis. The operation is part of the actions supported under action 2.8.2 ‘Supporting multimodal hubs and stations for multimodal transport’, since this rail stop will increase the attractiveness of the territory and facilitate intermodality with public transport. It complies with the selection criteria set out in the DOMO. In view of all the above, a favourable opinion is proposed for ERDF support of EUR 1 500 000.00.
