The main objective of the operation is to bring together the services of the city centre and the agglomeration on the same site. Located in the heart of the city, the renovated and enlarged building will make it possible to bring together on a single site services currently installed in different places in order to facilitate access for residents to the services of the commune of Montaigu-Vendée, Terres de Montaigu Communauté d’agglomération and the Centre intercommunal d’action social (CIAS). In addition, this project contributes to the physical revitalization of the city centre because it is linked to the neighbouring film reconstruction project: a total takeover of the site's outdoor facilities is planned as well as the optimisation of public development (reconfiguration of the shared parking areas in connection with the forecourts of the two projects). The works are expected to be accepted in the first quarter of 2025. In view of all the above, a favourable opinion is proposed for ERDF support of EUR 696 298.00.
