Based on the tools and skills developed in-house in recent years, the City of Cournon-d'Auvergne has engaged in a particularly innovative approach, photovoltaic electricity production in collective self-consumption. Collective self-consumption refers to the grouping of both producer and consumer buildings and consumer-only buildings within the community, in order to organize the consumption of electricity produced. This one is of photovoltaic origin. The production and consumption of electricity is then carried out on a local scale, thanks to the sharing economy. The most of the operation is that the panels come from European factories, as required in our criteria for the award of tenders through the carbon balance.
