Restructuring project of the Imaging department as part of the implementation of scanner equipment

The implementation of a scanner for medical use in the Mauriac Hospital is fully in line with the 2018-2023 regional health plan, the qualitative objectives of which are: - Ensure appropriate territorial accessibility in terms of imaging in sections, - Ensure access to imaging in sections in all emergency reception services, - Consolidate the optimization of imaging services in terms of organization and use of machines by strengthening cooperation, - Support the development and security of teleimaging to strengthen access to care and the permanence of care. The reflection for the installation of the scanner required a more global vision of the improvement of the offer of radiological care on the basin and therefore an architectural reorganization of the Medical Imaging department. Thus, the CH Mauriac will meet the needs of patients presenting to the ER, hospitalized and the population in terms of radiological care offer, in complementarity with the CH Aurillac (as part of a gradation of care).
