The Moulins-Yzeure Hospital Center wishes to strengthen its offer and its medical imaging equipment, by equipping itself with a Tesla MRI 3 "100% Hospital". This investment aims to improve the management of unscheduled patients by giving them access to MRI as part of on-call care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The objective is thus to ensure equal access to MRI examinations, and therefore to care, for the population of the region and the department of Allier. The introduction of Tesla's MRI 3 will also allow for better patient care, particularly by reducing waiting times for an exam. This new equipment will also be an opportunity to improve the performance of examinations of children with an adaptation of the equipment to this specific care, in particular by avoiding sedation. Finally, new activities such as cardiac imaging or carcinology activity can be developed. The ERDF is financing the acquisition of a Tesla MRI 3, the associated Faraday cage, the fitting-out work necessary for its installation as well as the provision of technical controls and health and safety coordination (CSPS).
