Rehabilitation of the municipal swimming pool

The rehabilitation of the municipal swimming pool of Néris-les-Bains is a structuring project of the strategy of territory declined in the agreement framework of operation of revitalization of the territory for Commentry, Montmarault, Néris Community. Centre of tourist attraction of the Community of Communes, the city of Néris-les-Bains is a spa of 2,600 inhabitants welcoming more than 7,000 curists per year. As such, it must offer many services contributing to its attractiveness in the world of highly competitive thermalism. The project has been designed to respond to the orientation of full health that the resort develops in partnership with the operator of the Thermes and the Intercommunal Tourist Office. This is why it includes equipment intended for well-being: freshwater swimming pool, beaches reprofiled and drowned in the surrounding greenery, enhancement of the architectural heritage of the 1950s. The refined layouts create an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and appropriation of a centuries-old culture by all. Intended to complete the bathing offer on the territory, it will benefit schools in their mandatory programs of access to swimming, to the national device "I learn to swim", to residents and tourists wishing to enjoy a safe outdoor swimming in season.
