The present operation consists of the rehabilitation of 24 collective housing units in a building located at 13 rue des Peupliers in Bourg en Bresse. This program is located near 4 buildings including 48 housing units that have undergone a recent rehabilitation operation. In order to standardize the entire sector, it was decided to proceed with the rehabilitation of the last building. This 24-unit project will be perfectly integrated with the other buildings by using similar façade colours. The operation provides for the thermal rehabilitation of the 24 dwellings: building envelope, common areas and dwellings. The work will take place on an occupied site. Nevertheless, there were 10 vacant dwellings. The purpose of this heavy rehabilitation is to upgrade the technical and envelope elements of the building in order to guarantee all tenants a better comfort of use and thermal of their housing. The aim is also to control the energy expenditure of buildings. The operation aims at the BBC labeling of housing.
