In agreement with the Regional Health Project and the Metropolitan Solidarity Project, following a call for projects, the ARS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the Metropolis of Lyon have authorized the OVE Foundation to create a 60-seat Medical Reception Facility (EAM) for people living with autism spectrum disorders or with mental disabilities. The main objective is to offer specific and local care to this population lacking a solution adapted to adulthood. The operation consists in fully equipping the EAM with medical and paramedical equipment to ensure daily and personalized care, rehabilitation and prevention services, as well as to specifically arrange living spaces (furniture, outdoors ...) to offer an environment promoting the health and well-being of adults, especially those with autism. 98 FTEs of professionals (caregivers...) will accompany residents and implement partnerships useful in the territory for their health and autonomy. The OVE Foundation, recognized as a public utility, manages 110 social and medico-social institutions, services and devices in 6 regions in France.
