The project is part of the urban renewal project for downtown Saint-Chamond, which was signed with the ANRU on March 14, 2019. The urban renewal programme carried out by Saint Etienne Métropole has the following objectives for Saint Chamond: - Restoring the attractiveness of the city center, dedensifying the urban fabric through building demolitions, urban development and the requalification of public spaces, - Strengthening the quality of living and residential attractiveness by requalifying/restructuring the offer of public and private housing
