The project involves the creation of a biogenic CO2 recovery unit, produced by the existing methanization unit. Indeed, the treatment and recovery of biowaste through biomethane injection activities already makes it possible to contribute to decarbonized mobility with the production of bioNGV. The valorization of the biogenic CO2 emitted during the production of the bioGNV would make it possible to complete the carbon cycle by valorizing the last missing brick. The biogenic CO2 will be produced in part through the biowaste of local agri-food industries, the objective of the project being to develop the bioCO2 sector in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
