The Hospital Center of Vichy acquires a surgical robot for the specialties of gynecology, visceral and urology. The goal is to anchor the hospital in a dynamic of innovation and offer cutting-edge medicine within reach of as many people as possible. Thanks to this robotic assistance, the patient can benefit from precise, minimally invasive surgery and a significantly shortened hospital stay, which also limits the risk of infection. The acquisition of this surgical robot is also an important recruitment lever for young surgeons who are all trained there during their studies in CHU. The surgical robot makes it possible to consolidate the offer of public surgery in the Allier and to consolidate an already existing territorial organization. This is particularly the case with Nord Allier for obstetric gynecology and digestive surgery and with patient flows extending to Nevers in the Saône et Loire, Roanne and Thiers. Subsequently, the use of robotic surgery may extend to the ENT, thoracic and vascular sphere.
