Cycling is constantly progressing, whether for active mobility or leisure. In this context, tourists are looking for facilities around their place of accommodation and stays related to this activity, especially roaming on major routes, are experiencing an unprecedented craze and generate significant economic benefits for the territories. In view of these developments, a desire to develop the offer of cycling holidays on the Corrèze and the new dynamics initiated by all the Departments concerned by the V87 "La Vagabonde" now allowing the introduction of tourism of a complete route, connected to the national network, the Department of Corrèze wishes to continue its investment efforts on the portion concerning it in order to ensure a qualitative reception of hiking cyclos throughout the route and thus promote stopping and visiting in particular the departmental sites along the route. The investments aim to offer stopping points that correspond to the recommendations of "Vélo et Territoires" for 9 service areas and 10 rest stops as well as the quality standard "Accueil Vélo - Sites et Accomodations Touristiques" in order to meet the high expectations of cycle route users. Finally, in order to be able to analyze the attendance of the route and its evolution, bike counters will be installed at the entrances of the department.
