Faced with the three major challenges that are the scarcity of fossil fuels, the fight against global warming and ongoing demographic changes, it is inevitable to rethink our modes of travel. Certainty: tomorrow's mobility will not be today's. It is in this context that researchers from the Place Clermontoise propose to collectively carry out the MODE project with the objective of developing innovative systems and services for Sustainable Mobility. It is clear that this project meets a strong societal demand that translates into priority displays at European (Horizon Europe Programme), national (Investments for the Future Programme, New Industrial France) and regional level (AURA Plan 2022-2028 with three of its four regional sectors of excellence: sustainable materials, microelectronics and artificial intelligence, hydrogen, and six of its 13 key sectors: Energy, Mobility, Digital and Electronic, Chemistry, Agriculture, Mechanics, Metallurgy, Robotic Machines).
