Acquisition of biomedical equipment and fitting-out work necessary for the installation of a PET-SCAN and a camera dedicated to myocardial scintigraphy

This operation consists in financing the acquisition of biomedical equipment and the development work necessary for the installation of a PET-SCAN and a camera dedicated to myocardial scintigraphy at the Montluçon-Néris-Les-Bains Hospital Center. The aim is to modernise Nuclear Medicine's equipment to improve the close care of patients suffering from cancer or cardiovascular diseases in vulnerable populations in the North-West of the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region. The profile of the population of the health territory shows a particular excess mortality by cancer and cardiovascular diseases, points of marked socio-economic and demographic fragilities as well as degraded indicators of mortality preventable by primary prevention. This project complements the current offer of care in Nuclear Medicine, responds to the consolidation of the public cancer sector and the objectives of the regional health project, Imaging component, by participating in the improvement of accessibility to Tomographs by emission of positrons.
