The investments requested in the framework of the project "Integrated Structural Biology CPER EPN 2030" aim to provide the ESRF with equipment at the cutting edge of innovation to carry out research projects that were not possible until now or to acquire a much more precise quality of data. The challenge is to better understand the mechanisms of life, respond to new challenges in biology, especially for infectious diseases or neurodegenerative diseases, and help develop new, more effective and targeted drugs.
