The operation consists in building and operating a territorial methanization unit with recovery with injection of biomethane into the GrDF network on the Franc-lyonnais plateau of the metropolis of Lyon in Montanay. SAS Montvert was initiated by the Carpentier family (owner of a rabbit farm, SAS Chantegrillet), which has been working for several years to improve environmental practices. Two other cereal farmers (EARL du Fagot and Jérôme Ribayron) are also involved in the project. This approach is consistent with societal and climatic issues that will make it possible to valorize agricultural materials of the territory and a use of digestate on neighboring plots in place of fertilizers.
