This request concerns the CPER 3R project which is carried out by the International Research Center "Natural Disasters and Sustainable Development" of the I-SITE CAP 20-25 program of the University Clermont Auvergne. Project 3R “Risks, Breakages, Resilience: Societies facing their challenges" focuses on natural disasters and their societal consequences. It is an integrator because it aims to promote interactions between Human and Social Sciences and Fundamental Sciences and it brings together 22 research units and 2 federative structures (House of Human Sciences, Observatory of Physics of the Globe of Clermont-Ferrand). The 3R project aims to better understand natural disasters, identify the associated risks and uncertainties, and analyze the responses of individuals and societies. To achieve this goal, state-of-the-art equipment is needed in order to accurately measure the natural phenomena that are a source of risk for societies, the consequences of these phenomena on the environment and the reactions of individuals facing disaster situations. The equipment presented in this dossier will be grouped into three platforms of the Clermont-Ferrand site (CarMa, Drone, e.3C) recognized at the national level for their scientific excellence.
