As part of its policy of thermal and functional renovation of its technical road maintenance centers, the Loire Department will rehabilitate its Saint-Just-en-Chevalet site. The project, overall, consists of the construction of new sheds, garages and salt shelter (excluding the ERDF project) as well as the renovation of a 1912 station, in which the offices, changing rooms and the conviviality of the technical center will be developed. It is within the framework of a virtuous environmental approach that the choice of a complete energy renovation of the old station, a local heritage, was made rather than a deconstruction/reconstruction. It will result in the installation of new joinery, new insulation (walls, floors, roof), and a PAC instead of the oil boiler. This will drastically reduce final energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. The SRT concerned is 326.9 m2.
