Green casting: Development of the Parc du Cèdre et des Noirots and Avenue du Général De Gaulle The city of Chagny wants to implement a network of biodiversity based on a dense network of parks and gardens promoting the integration of nature in the city. The overall project entitled "green casting" consists of the development of three areas into parks: the Parc du Cèdre et des Noirots, Square Bellevue and Square de l'Arlequin expand to Avenue du Générale de Gaulle. Designed as a green flow connecting the Chagny forest to the banks of the Dheune; this corridor must irrigate downtown Chagny with renaturated spaces promoting biodiversity. The parks and gardens that compose it are designed to meet the needs of the inhabitants and offer them welcoming and friendly proximity spaces. The municipality's ambition is also to combat the phenomenon of heat islands while contributing to the preservation of soil permeability. The green flow takes its source in the heart of the city providing the link with the peripheral districts by connecting the district of Noirots to the city center.share on FacebookTwitterLinkedinEmailreport an issue
