The "Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne" network project is aimed at the inhabitants of the Bourgogne Franche Comté region and tourists from all over the world. Its objective is to promote the Burgundian vineyard, its history, its grape varieties, its climates and its wines through the opening of three wine cities: in Chablis, Mâcon and Beaune. This operation is part of this overall project and concerns more particularly the creation of an immersive visit route within the Cité des Climats et des Vins de Bourgogne in Beaune. This interpretation center will be both a place of valorization of history, know-how and Burgundian wine heritage, but also a place of learning and tasting, inviting to a discovery of the territory. Throughout the tour, the visitor will be able to listen to the history of Burgundy wines, interact with different multimedia devices (multitouch tables, animated videos, light projections, interactive games...), learn about tasting... All his senses will be awakened to meet, know but also understand the Burgundian wine culture. By offering a submerged entrance "Under the Sea", then a discovery of the perimeter inscribed Climates World Heritage by UNESCO via an application on a large touch screen, until a retrospective in a monumental device, the tour will make extensive use of innovative digital technologies.
