SAMI - Autonomous Sensors for Intelligent Monitoring

The SAMI project aims to propose operational solutions for the health surveillance of critical structures or equipment (aircraft, bridges, etc.). It is aimed at a wide range of potential users, both in the industrial sphere and for public authorities. By revisiting the concept of SilMach's "sensor" technology, SAMI aims to reconcile frugality in energy and data with the world of the Internet of Things. To this end, the current sensor architecture will be reviewed, communicating functions will be integrated, new sensory principles will be developed and new micro-manufacturing processes will be developed (micro-injection, plastronics, etc.). SAMI combines 1 company (SilMach) and 2 research entities (ENSMM and the University of Franche Comté). ENSMM will support SilMach in the development of prototypes by providing its skills in MEMS design/modeling and prototyping solutions for MEMS hybridization via its MIFHYSTO platform. The UFC will contribute to the development and stabilization of MEMS manufacturing processes through its MIMENTO platform.
