Development of innovative biomedicine manufacturing processes

The actors of the consortium of the Bio'Imp collaborative project develop and deploy innovative technological and biotechnological solutions in order to optimize the manufacturing processes of biomedicines. The development of biomedicines, drugs whose active ingredient is of biological origin, is booming. A public health issue has emerged in recent years in the face of the cost of producing these innovative medicines, limiting their deployment despite first conclusive scientific results. It is in this context that the "Bio Imp" project is presented, led by a consortium of academic and industrial actors specialized in bioproduction, biotechnologies and microtechnologies. Several actors of this project collaborated during a previous collaborative project financed by ERDF funds, the MiMéDI project: Microtechnology for Innovative Medicines. The many results obtained have been valued by more than 40 scientific publications, 4 Soleau envelopes and 4 patents, 10 jobs have been created. Therefore CellQuest, RD Biotech, Diaclone, Med'Inn'Pharma and Lymphobank, in collaboration with EFS, the RIGHT and FEMTO-ST laboratories of the University of Franche-Comté and FC'innov are once again associated in this very ambitious project aimed at continuing the implementation of disruptive technologies in bioproduction processes.
