The Directorate for Lifelong Learning (FTLV) comprises a Training Service and an Orientation-Employment Service. The Orientation-Employment department works with the public to prepare them for informed orientation choices by informing, equipping and facilitating the meeting with the business world. Craft professions are evolving, transforming and specialising, and it is important to increase awareness of these professions. Craft trades are often accessible to low levels of qualification (level 3), but also offer the opportunity to progress to higher qualifications, up to the Engineering degree. In addition, the variety of professional sectors and trades represented, to which is added a great territorial proximity, make Crafts, a response adapted to the needs of the young people of the territory. Information for young people and the discovery of craft trades also meet the expectations of companies wishing to discover their trades and the professional techniques related to them. The Chamber of Crafts and Interdepartmental Crafts, which represents the Crafts and its 250 professions, is able to position itself as an expert on the challenges of youth guidance and to propose specific actions that meet its needs.
