The Graviers-Evoironnes district green infrastructure project, led by the City of Sochaux, aims to transform an urban area, identified in the priority geography since 2015, into a sustainable, friendly and environmentally friendly space. The realization of a green infrastructure is reflected in the first place by the development of spaces planted in open ground and at different strata (grass, shrub and tree) fed gravitally by rainwater. To limit CO2 production, it also integrates the creation of pedestrian and cycle paths positioned at the heart of green infrastructure for optimal comfort. It also includes the installation of street lighting more energy efficient and more favorable to the black frame thanks to level management and lighting cuts. Finally, this green infrastructure will support awareness-raising actions, particularly in public spaces during events and in the Kiosk - Project House. These actions aim to promote the appropriation of ecological and climate issues by the greatest number. As a result, this project will contribute to improving the quality of life of residents while promoting the transition to a greener and more resilient city.
