The project to centralize the infrastructure and strengthen the cybersecurity of the colleges of the department of Saône-et-Loire aims to improve and secure the service provided to users of the territory. It concerns both the educational community and departmental agents, by profoundly modifying the infrastructure of the computer network and the equipment related to it. The data will be better protected, the uses secured and the new architecture will allow the implementation of new interoperable services (public wifi, access control, globalized directory, bastion ...). In addition, the management of equipment by the department's technical teams will be centralized for enhanced preventive intervention. The reduction in the number of physical equipment (servers in particular) and the extension of the service life of new equipment will reduce the environmental impact of the information system.
