In an alarming environmental, societal and territorial context, the role of Social and Solidarity Entrepreneurship (SSE) is essential. Carrying many jobs that cannot be relocated, this Economy in its own right is also meaningful. It is more respectful of its environment, more supportive, more inclusive and more territorial. However, despite the overall dynamism of the sector, linked in particular to the desire to undertake differently, SSE companies remain fragile. Their business models are often outdated and too close to balance, the public financing allocated to them is for the most part in significant decline and the majority of banking players are unaware of the sectors in which they operate and their method of financing. If we want to support the SSE and allow it to develop in the years to come so that it can actively participate in the major challenges before us, our role is to support and finance the companies that compose it with perfectly adapted means. The objective of the project is thus to support the development of Social and Solidarity Entrepreneurship in the Corsican region by providing technical and financial answers dedicated to entrepreneurs wishing to create, develop, transform or relaunch a social and solidarity-based enterprise that generates jobs.
