This renovation of public lighting in 25 municipalities is part of the Corsica Public Lighting Renovation Plan in line with the objectives of the EPP and the SRCAE. This plan is exemplary at national level in terms of its scale and its expected results, both quantitative and qualitative. In order to measure the effects and quantify the investments needed to carry out this plan, studies have been launched in accordance with the SEA’s precise specifications with a view to defining global renovation projects in a ‘Just Light’ approach. It was in this context that studies were carried out in 2023. They made it possible to draw up an inventory of the park of these 25 municipalities (3 300 light points) and to identify public lighting renovation projects in order to achieve nearly 76.62% energy savings for each municipality on average by adapting the lighting levels to the specific needs of each municipality. As part of the ‘Public lighting’ call for projects launched by the UEA, SIEEPHC presented a project for the exemplary renovation of public lighting in 25 municipalities, using an LED solution, in a ‘Just lighting’ approach in accordance with the objectives of the EPP and its ‘Public lighting’ component.
