Development of the Parc des Mamelles to offer an additional tourist offer

The Parc des Mamelles is a zoological park located in the commune of Bouillante. It offers its customers on an area of 4 hectares, the discovery of 450 animals of 64 different species (reptiles, a puma, a jaguar, an ocelot (leopard). This park also includes a wildlife care centre. Created since 1998, this zoological park requires a complete evolution of the site and services offered to customers. This major development is expected to take place over several phases. This phase involves the construction of new enclosures and aviaries with the possibility of immersion for customers, as well as the creation of an insectarium and other electrical installations. The aim is to increase the attractiveness of the zoo while meeting the obligations imposed by the regulations, in particular the European Directive 1999/22 on the safety of animals and visitors.
